Balsall Common Primary School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The school is extremely well-resourced with computers. The nursery unit have their own clusters of computers, including touch-screen monitor. The school follows the national literacy strategy framework for teaching, and teachers endeavour to make their lessons lively and interesting. There are a wide range of clubs and other activities open to the children during the course of each school year, including some on Saturday mornings. Some of these, particularly the sports activities, are of a seasonal nature whilst others, particularly musical groups, continue throughout the year.
