Bournville School is a local educational authority mixed comprehensive for pupils aged 11 to 19 years situated in a pleasant residential area on the southwest of the city. The school has extensive facilities including: a new business centre, six ICT centres, a recording studio, performance and production centre and nine specialist science laboratories. A wide range of extra-curricular activities and clubs are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These include computer club, model club, theatre visits, animal club, chess club, library group and musical events.
