Committed to the pursuit of excellence by having high expectations for all', the pride the Kingswinford School places in its pupils and their attainment is palpable. Despite relatively modest provisions for physical education, the excellence of the school's physical education teaching and extra-curricular sports activities were recently recognised with a Sportsmark Award. The school is justly proud of the results of its investement in computer technology, there are less than four pupils per personal computer and the pupils' high level of computer literacy is one of Kingswinford's strengths. Although the school actively cultivates a quiet, purposeful, yet friendly community atmosphere there is a firm commitment from staff to imbue the pupils with a tolerant attitude towards and thorough understanding of the world of employment. The school is committed to maintaining a strong relationship with parents and stresses the importance of the teacher parent partnership to the progress and development of the child.
