Background:
Birchfield Community School is a primary and nursery school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is three to 11. The library is open twice-weekly after-school and the whole family is encouraged to visit in order to share the facilities with their children. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, cricket, hockey and rugby. The school aims to provide a learning environment that recognises the full potential of each child and allows them to achieve in a manner commensurate with that potential.
