Background:
Colton Hills Community School is situated in Wolverhampton. It caters for children aged between 11-18 years. The facilities for sport and leisure at the school are excellent. These include a well-equipped theatre, a large swimming pool, a sports hall, superb outdoor provision, gym/dance centre and a community lounge. In addition there are facilities for youth activities. Recently the school has added four floodlit multi-sports courts to its facilities. There is an extra-curricular programme consisting of various clubs and activities. These include art club, drama, school band, keyboard club, tuition in brass, woodwind, string and percussion instruments and many sports clubs. In addition a visit to France and Germany takes place each year for educational and recreational purposes. The school aims to achieve excellence for all its students in all aspects of learning for life.
