Background:
Bristnall Hall Technology College is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. The school is a mixture of traditional and modern buildings, all contained on one site. The older buildings contain two halls for pupil gatherings, assemblies and dining. The larger hall has a stage, which is used for drama and musical productions. The design and technology area is made up of seven specialist rooms including two fully equipped areas dedicated to computer aided design and manufacture. There is also a suite of purpose-built art rooms. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, cricket, hockey, netball, athletics, tennis, basketball and cross-country. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
