Background:
The school was opened as separate infant and junior schools in 1975. In 1981 these were merged into one primary school and in January 1991, the nursery unit was opened. The school caters for children aged three to 11 years and is housed in a single storey open plan building that is set in extensive pleasant grounds. It aims to deliver a balanced, well-planned curriculum, by experienced staff. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities on offer after-school mainly for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils. The school aims to provide an inspiring and challenging environment, for all, where everyone works together.
