Background:
Woodhouse primary School is a two-form entry school for pupils aged three to 11 years old. The school was built in 1931 as a school for pupils with tuberculosis, and has served the northwest area of Quinton for almost 74 years. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include football, netball, basketball, badminton, short tennis, street dance and modern dance. The school also has a strong musical tradition and offers flute, clarinet and saxophone, oboe, recorder, guitar, piano and percussion lesson for pupils between the ages of seven and 11. The school aims to provide a stimulating, safe and orderly environment.
