Background:
Founded in 1938 as separate infant and junior schools, Elston Hall Primary School was created by their amalgamation in 1994 and is situated in the northern suburbs of Wolverhampton. The school does not have its own playing fields but is adjacent to Bee Lane playing fields. Elston Hall has a 'tradition of good provision' for special educational needs pupils. Considerable sports successes have been achieved in swimming and football. The school is supported by the Friends of Elston Hall which aims to 'bring parents and others into the life of the school' as well as organising fundraising activities.
