Background:
Green Meadow Primary School was built in 1958. It was originally built as two separate schools, but in 1985 the infant school amalgamated with the junior school and a primary school was created. The building is a wooden two-storey structure, sited in the middle of a Bournville Village Trust Estate. The school has a hall and a gym, two libraries, two playgrounds, a large field, two outdoor play areas, a mini-suite of computers and a purpose-built ICT suite. The gym is equipped with new apparatus. The school's extra-curricular activities include cricket, French, chess, cooking, gardening and circus skills.
