Background:

Built in 1969 on the corner of Oxford Road and School Road; close links with St Mary's Church in Moseley. Singing opportunities; individual tuition for musical instruments. Pupils have had opportunities to collaborate with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Birmingham Royal Ballet, the National Youth Ballet, and the national film and television festival. The school offers various sports, including swimming at nearby pool, athletics, dance, football, netball, rounders and cricket. Inter-house games are organised and the school successfully competes in netball and football primary school leagues. The school is involved in initiatives with Birmingham Sports Centre and Warwickshire County Cricket Club. Parent-teacher association helps by raising funds and organising social events throughout the year. Over-subscribed, with three applications per place. After-school care, until 6pm.
