Background:

Park Hill Primary School was established in 1967. It is a modern primary school set in spacious grounds and it mainly serves the Allesley Green, Eastern Green areas of the city. All classes have access to computers within their classrooms, which will shortly be linked to its ICT suite in the main school building. The school is proud of its sporting achievements and aims to provide pupils with the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sporting activities. The school regularly takes part in inter school sporting fixtures and often hosts citywide competitions. There are regular sessions of coaching offered both by the school and other qualified coaches. Current extra-curricular activities include: short tennis, gymnastics, netball, rounders, dance, rugby and fencing. Children participate in a range of musical activities, which include singing, composing and performing using tuned and percussion instruments. The school aims to provide a positive and helpful environment within which young children can develop all aspects of their personalities as they grow towards maturity.
