Background:
Wyken Croft is a school with great history. It was initially built in 1951 as a two-form entry junior school. Later in 1994 both buildings were amalgamated making one extensive and massive school. The school has two fully equipped halls, four playgrounds and extensive playing fields. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include dance, drama, running club, netball, rounders, cross-country, country dancing and recorders. The school is committed to achieving excellence in teaching and learning which enables children to progress in a happy, stimulating and safe environment.
