Background:
Dawley Brook Primary School is situated in Kingswinford, close to the Black Country on one side and South Staffordshire on the other. The school was opened in 1965 and currently houses 312 children between the ages of 3 and 11. A new classroom and cloakroom area is currently being constructed. There are also playing fields and play areas. The school takes pupils on residential visits to Scarborough, visits to countryside parks and historical sites. There are regular musical and dramatic productions. Evening activities are organised for local residents and a recently introduced 'out of school' club provides care facilities both before and after school.
