Background:

Peters Hill is situated in a residential area on the outskirts of Stourbridge and Brierley Hill. It is housed in a modern, purpose-built building and includes an early education centre. The school has seven areas with teaching areas, a music room, main hall, small octagonal hall, practical working areas, a museum for practical history teaching, playing fields and hard play areas. It was founded with 56 pupils in 1973 to serve a modern housing development and has grown rapidly over the years. Peters Hill has an 'exciting and challenging' atmosphere and is currently over-subscribed. An after-school club runs every day until 5.30pm, and extra-curricular events include football, a school savings bank, computer groups, netball, dance, aerobics, recorder groups, choirs, drama groups, guitar groups and visits abroad. The Peters Hill Link Association promotes school activities and raises funds for the school.
