Background:

President Kennedy School and Community College is a secondary school and sixth form for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 18. Over the years the school has built up the facilities to provide best to its pupils. Each subject has its own suite of rooms. In addition there are 10 science laboratories, a separate technology block, seven computer suites and music block with rehearsal rooms. There is a wide range of clubs and activities to all students before-school, at lunchtime or after-school. Throughout the year there are many opportunities for pupils to be involved in events outside their normal lessons. These include charity week, concerts and productions and the Kennedy Sports Festival. Educational visits are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. These visits include trips to Dol-y-Moch, an outdoor pursuits centre in Wales. The school aims to achieve a full potential for all in a caring and supportive environment.
