Background:
St Alban's was built in 1969, although it received a new roof and window replacements in 1998. The school is situated in a suburban setting on the south side of Birmingham. It is proud that in 1999, it achieved its fourth successive year in improvements in its SATs results. The school encourages pupils to raise money through school charity appeals and PTA functions.
