Background:
St Anne's School was opened in September 1970. It is a voluntary aided Catholic primary school for children between 3 and 11 years of age. The school is completely self-contained with its own hall which doubles as a well equipped gymnasium, school kitchen, dining hall, school library, state of the art computer suite, seven classrooms, cloakroom areas and nursery unit. It aims to provide a caring environment for its child, with a wide range of balanced learning opportunities as prescribed by the national and foundation stage curriculum. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities allowing children further opportunities for team play and individual expression. The school aims to provide a loving, caring atmosphere enabling each child to develop intellectually, socially and spiritually.
