Background:

Founded in 1968, the school is acommodated in a single-storey building organised into seven classes. It is situated adjacent to the church, close to Boldmere High Street. Pupils participate in football, netball, rounders, athletics, swimming, tag rugby and cricket in the Sutton Coldfield District and Birmingham Catholic Partnership Competitions; also tennis, golf and judo. The school has strong links with the local community through old peoples' homes, hospitals and with the wider community through national and international charities. Fund-raising includes collecting harvest produce and gifts at Christmas and Lent. Members of the community are invited to the school's Christmas and Easter celebrations. Before-school care, from 8am; after-school care, until 6pm. DfES achievement award (2002, 2003, 2004).
