Background:
The Oaks Primary School is a one-form entry school and caters for children between the ages of three and 11 years. It is situated in Druids Heath on the southern boundary of Birmingham. The school enjoys pleasant grounds with garden areas and large playgrounds. The school is very spacious with separate infant and junior libraries and computer rooms, as well as special needs rooms. A wide range of after-school activities are on offer to the children including computer club, dance club and art and craft club. Children also have the opportunity to play traditional team games such as rounders and football. A number of educational day visits are arranged for every class each year. The school aims to provide a safe, caring and happy community in which all people are valued as individuals.
