Background:
St Augustine is a Catholic voluntary aided school providing all ability and co-educational day schooling. It is situated within the city and Archdiocese of Birmingham. Over the last eighteen months the school has introduced an activecommunity room, new library, resource suite, computer suite, refurbished Key stage 1 classes, provided new windows to all Key Stage 1 classes and the nursery and completed the outside learning environment. At Key Stage 1 and 2 children are enabled to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and understanding involved in areas of activities encompassing athletic activities, dance, games, gymnastic activities, outdoor and adventurous activities. Choir, guitar, drum and other musical instruments, computer club and art clubs continue to be a feature of the school's extra-curricular activities. The school aims to create a happy, organised and stimulating environment, enabling all children to realise their potential for learning and their capacity for enjoyment.
