Background:

St Patrick's Catholic Primary School seeks to develop the full potential of all members of its community, and using Jesus Christ as its model its aim to create a loving and caring family where all are valued in an ever changing and challenging society. The school uses information technology to enhance learning in other areas of the curriculum and also to develop specific skills. There are various clubs held either during lunchtime or after school. It must be remembered that teachers who volunteer their own time run these clubs. Parental help with these clubs is greatly appreciated. At the present time it has the following clubs:- upper school choir, rounders, netball, football and cricket. Its aim to give its pupils as wide a musical experiences as possible and to develop in them an intrinsic enjoyment of music and rhythm. The school aims to lead its children to a living and active faith, to create a secure, happy working environment where valuable learning opportunities are met and where a sense of awe and wonder at God's creation is fostered.
