Background:
Sir Thomas More was built more than 25 years ago to meet the needs of Catholic families in the Great Wynley and Cheslyn Hay area. A 'fine sporting tradition' has been established at the school and its swimming team has been 'very successful' at local galas. Pupils also take part in football, netball and general physical education. Parents are 'very active' fund raisers for the school. There are good links with WH Smith, MEB and Pearl Assurance, all of which support the school financially.
