The school has 'particular experience' of the educational application of video conferencing to primary education and is currently developing an 'exciting' project linking specific families of children who attend the school via video conferencing facilities. In addition to maintaining a 'balanced curriculum', the school achieves 'high standards' in music and the arts. All children have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument and tuition is provided for cello, violin, flute, recorder, guitar, oboe, brass instruments and drums. Staff at St Peter's also provide an 'extensive' range of out-of-school tuition from netball, football, cricket and gymnastics, to science, maths, model making, juggling, library skills, orienteering and art. The school has global links with schools in Singapore and Chicago. It is over-subscribed and receives two applications for each place.
